BIO:
Having grown up in a family that held involvement at church as a high priority I knew at an early age that one day I would be in ministry. So I followed my pastor’s example and went to Los Angeles Baptist College, now known as The Master's College. What a great move - my cousin Karen, who also attended that school, had a room mate and she told me that I really needed to meet her. Long story short, Diann and I were married in the summer of my sophomore year. It really was love at first sight. We have lived in several parts of the country from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Anchorage, Alaska as well as Bend, Oregon and several places in California - all bringing great ministry opportunities. We have two great kids, Janelle, our oldest, is married to Jeff. They live in Oakdale California and have two of our grandkids, Jadon and Maggie. Our son Luke is also married, he and Emily live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and they have Silas our third grand child and Eliana, our fourth and Levi our fifth. Diann and I really enjoy our family. We moved to the Redding area in May of ‘04. We enjoy our life here and love the people that God has placed around us.
You’d never think: I was too small to successfully play football in high school. I know, I know - you'd never think that by looking at me now. I love football but my size (at that time) dictated that I focus on something else - music was a natural. I was drum major for the band and sang in several high school musicals.
Favorite Books/CD’s/Movies: I love reading Louie L' Amour books. The bad guys always lose, the good guys always win and they stand up for whats right as well as for the underdog and they always get the girl. My favorite music group is Phillips, Craig and Dean. My favorite movies are the Star Wars series. But when I am sick and stuck at home in bed I love to watch Ben Hurr.
Hobbies: Diann and I really enjoy riding our Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. As you can tell I really like my bike. We also love salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska and our favorite thing is to just hang out at home.
