BIO: I was born and raised in Whittier, CA., a spoiled only child. After graduating from high school I worked for 2 years for a CPA firm then went on to attend So. Calif. College, now Vanguard University, where I was also the bookkeeper for the college. After graduation I went to work for Xerox. I worked for them in CA and NY. My husband and I met at church, married in Whittier, CA and had a son, Scott, and a daughter, Cindy. We moved north, to the Santa Rosa area, to get away from the traffic and smog of So. Calif. We lived there for 21 years. My husband passed away in 2000. I retired from my job as Accounting Manager for a school district and moved to Redding. Our son married and had 2 children. He, his wife and my granddaughter died in an auto accident. I still have my special grandson who lives with his aunt and uncle. My wonderful daughter lives here in Redding and works with boys who have been in trouble with the law. I have found so many great friends at RCF and am very excited to be a part of the “team”.

You’d Never Think: I don’t like chocolate (unless there’s some nuts in it). I hear it’s healthy for you too!!! I really don’t even drink sodas. Strange, huh?

Favorite CD/Movie/Book: I enjoy the Beach Boys, Josh Groban, Maranatha Praise songs, gospel hymns.

Hobbies: I love to camp out in the big trees, beside a creek or river and spend time at the lake during the summer. I enjoy doing Soduko puzzles and playing table games.
