HangTime is a time to hang out and spend time with a few BaseLine leaders and other BaseLine students. This is an informal hour before the formal youth group program begins, so students can have fun and share about their week with leaders and other students.
If you don’t have time for HangTime, no big deal!!! BaseLine still starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:00pm.
Why is it called “Baseline”?
It’s called Base Line because for young people, middle school is a period in their lives in which they begin the transition from child to adult. A time where their perceptions about God, faith, and the church are formed that will shape the decisions they make as adults. We believe it is our responsibility to come alongside parents and assist them in laying a foundation of biblical truth for their student (s). We strive to continually encourage, equip, and guide them through this leg of the journey called “middle school”
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God” Philippians 1:9-11
