Middle School

Middle school is a fun, crazy, and sometimes awkward season—and that’s exactly why it’s such an important time to build a strong identity in Christ. Students today face constant pressure and confusion about who they are and what they’re worth. Our goal at youth group is to equip teens and pre-teens to navigate these challenges with the timeless truth of God’s Word.

Levi White

Middle School and Family Ministries Pastor

I’ve had the amazing privilege of serving at Redding Christian Fellowship since 2016. Each week, I get to connect with middle school students through Wednesday night youth group and Sunday school. I also help equip parents to thrive through classes that focus on marriage, parenting, and family life.

I earned my B.A. in Bible and Theology, and I’m passionate about helping people connect their faith to the everyday struggles of life in a broken world.

A verse that’s especially meaningful to me is 2 Corinthians 10:5:
“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”
I love this reminder that taking our thoughts captive through the power of the Holy Spirit can truly transform our lives.

When I’m not at church, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children—as well as my chickens and chainsaws (in that order!).

We teach the Bible in fun, interactive, and dynamic ways to help students understand and apply God’s truth to their everyday lives. We also play fun (and sometimes ridiculous!) games to break the ice and show students that following Jesus is anything but boring.

Throughout the year, we offer retreats—from weekend winter camps to week-long summer camps and mission trips. These experiences give students space to build deep friendships and put into practice what they’re learning in a low-pressure, meaningful environment.
