Josh Bowman

High School and Young Adult Pastor

As the High School and Young Adult Pastor, I have the privilege of walking alongside teens and young adults as they navigate some of the most defining seasons of their lives. My ministry focuses on helping those in high school through their mid-twenties root their identity, purpose, and faith in Scripture—building a foundation that lasts well beyond these formative years.

I’ve been serving at Redding Christian Fellowship since March 2023. Since 2013, I’ve been part of crisis intervention, suicide prevention and recovery, and integrated resilience training teams. After serving in special needs ministry, I transitioned into high school ministry at RCF for a year and a half before stepping into my current role with young adults full time.

I love guiding students and young adults to discover their identity in Christ, wrestle with questions, find belonging, and live out their faith with purpose and authenticity.

A verse that continually centers me is Matthew 6:33: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.”

On a personal note, I’m a devoted follower of Jesus who enjoys coffee with my wife and seeing the world anew through the eyes of our four children. In my spare time, I love raising chickens, collecting eggs, and working with my hands on new projects.
