Women’s Ministry Director

I have been part of Redding Christian Fellowship for 25 years and have had the joy of serving as Women’s Ministry Director since July 2025. In this role, I help guide and support all areas of ministry to women of every age and stage of life. My heart is to encourage women to grow in their walk with the Lord and embrace His pursuing love through Bible studies, gatherings, and special events. I’m passionate about creating spaces where women can connect, grow in faith and courage, and build lasting friendships.

Before stepping into this role, I served as the Children’s Ministry Director from 2003–2016, overseeing weekly ministry for children from birth through 5th grade and leading more than 100 volunteers who faithfully served in Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. I’ve also owned and operated my own childcare business and spent several years working for Alta Mesa School and the YMCA—first as a classroom aide for junior high students, and later as Director of their after-school and summer camp programs. For the past five years, I’ve also enjoyed volunteering with our high school student ministry and speaking at women’s gatherings and conferences.

I love connecting with women of all ages, and it fills my heart with joy to walk alongside others as they discover security and trust in God’s grace for their lives.

My life verse since 2010 has been Ephesians 4:22–24:
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

I’ve been married to my loving and patient husband, Shawn, for 12 years. We have four incredible grandsons, and our love for family and friends has grown into a personal ministry of hospitality—hosting family dinners and “Cousin Camp” sleepovers. We also love camping, traveling in our fifth wheel, and never miss an opportunity to visit a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurant or catch a NASCAR race!
