Please note: We do not accept any adult clothing except maternity, used underwear or socks,  furniture, toys, DVDs, Books, etc.

Come trade what you have for what you need. For every piece of new or  gently used children’s clothes (size newborn to XL) or children’s shoes  that you bring to Community Closet, you can take the same number of items  during quarterly Open Closet Shopping Days. Clothes labeled Maternity are  also accepted and available for trade.

Here’s how it works

  1. Bring your pre-washed and counted clothes to a Drop-Off day or  Open Closet Shopping day. The total credits will be added to your  information card. 

  2. On the Open Closet Shopping day, shop for clothes that are a better  fit for your growing children. The total credits will be deducted from  your card. 

  3. A limited number of diapers and wipes are also available using your  credits. 

  4. You can also volunteer during Drop-Off and Sort days. Three hours of  volunteer time allows you early access on the Open Closet Shopping  days.

If you would like to volunteer; just show up at the posted times and dates.

Open Closet Shopping day volunteers need to arrive @ 9:00 am.
